Background
Rustik began trading in 2020 during the COVID-era market disruption, first working through crypto and stock positions before moving into options. The early years were heavily discretionary, with an emphasis on market structure, liquidity, Smart Money Concepts and understanding how options positioning can influence price behavior.
He founded Rawstocks in 2023 around a simple operating principle: publish the trade framework before the outcome is known and preserve the result afterward, including the losses. That evidence-first approach remains central to the desk record and to the way Rawstocks presents systematic performance.
His role has since expanded well beyond discretionary single-name trading. Rustik develops and engineers Rawstocks' quantitative trading systems, including QuantViper, the options trade-plan framework, and FlashPoint, the MNQ TradingView strategy. His work now sits at the intersection of futures, options, systematic research, backtesting, risk design and live strategy validation.
As founder and CEO, he also leads Rawstocks' product development, research and education work while continuing to trade futures and options.
